Though the fountains have long been silenced, and the place was stripped bare by later dynasties, the Badi stands as the one grand monument that equals the Alhambra in scale and ambition. With its great basins and orange trees, elegant symmetry, and great big dusty walls perched by the storks, it is an incredible site.An important first stop on any visit to Marrakech.”
