  2. “Great start to our holiday in Bangkok. The weekend package that we selected via Tablet was unavailable directly with the hotel. On arrival we were given an upgrade that made things even better.”

  3. “The Sukothai was outstanding. We were surprised from the deco of the room to the very good concierge tips. The hotel itself is an oasis in an chaotic city. The food was very good unfortunately we didn't try the new italian restaurant. The Spa was not fantasticly design like at the Oriental or the Met but the massage itself was much better than those 2 other places. We were just seduced. Being my third times in Bangkok just the hotel made the trip fabulous.”

  7. “I have one major criticism of the Sukhotai hotel : a luxury hotel, I found the fact that the hotel charged guests for accessing the available internet connection, even in one's own room using one's own computer, wirelessly, to be exceptionally cheap and tacky. I have stayed at many a hotel - yet only here is the internet not consdiered part of the service. Adding insult to injury, at 600+ bat per day , it is not cheap - but it is the opportunistic attitude that charging for this basic service that would keep me from staying at Sukhotai again.”

  8. “We will return to the Sukhothai and recommend it to friends. The room was excellent and the pool was great for our young children. I was a bit disappointed in the concierge services. They were unable to make dining suggestions (other than their own very pricey restaurants) and were very limited on shopping and art gallery advice. We did manage to get them to include breakfast for two adults -- which we thought was only reasonable based on the $500 USD price for the room per night.”

  10. “This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. A lovely oasis in the chaos of Bangkok. The various facilities are elegant, excellent and uncrowded -- perfect for my vacation. A terrific recommendation.”

  12. “The Rooms were very comfortable. The staff was allways very friendly. The only thing what was bothersome, was the fact that you have to paid for the wireless internet access. But this is happens all over the world. In the cheap hotels you get free internet access. But if you pay 300 Buck for a room you have to pay extra for this stuff.”
