“The room was spacious although it only had a Queen bed which was small for a couple (at least for us). The mattress and linen were of average comfort, certainly not what I would expect for a 5 star property like 4S, etc. The restaurant was very nice for both dinner and breakfast. The fitness center is inadequate; the hotel would offer a better service if they had an arrangement with a local health club. The concierge was very helpful and there was a hotel car available for guests to take to restaurants etc.”

“We requested that some lightbulbs (which were burnt out when we arrived to the room) be replaced, since the room was dark. Only one bulb had been replaced and the other two were not. Since my husband and I were staying in the room, the bathroom could have used some additional towels.The rooms are beautifully appointed and the hotel is very well located. I would stay here again and again.”

“The drivers, doormen and concierge (cannot recall her name) were all excellent. The rest of the staff left much to be desired. I won't be staying at XV Beacon again.”

“The Hotel was beautiful, the room was exquisite and every ounce of service-- from the turn-down service to the chaufferred car service-- was impeccable. Truly the best hotel experience I've ever had. I'll definately recommend the XV Beacon to anyone traveling to Boston, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else the next time that I'm in town.”

“While the rooms are compact, they are quite well laid out. Very comfortable stay. Rooftop deck needs some work, but overall a great pace to stay. Perfectly convenient location for business or pleasure.”

“we did have a bad experience with the shower. there were works going on and we were unable to shower for several hours. my boyfriend got covered in dirty water. he was very annoyed. we compensated by 100 dollars but thought that this was inadequate.”

“viaggio molto per piacere e alloggio sempre, quando la logistica lo permette, in hotels di categoria elevata, ma raramente ho trovato un'accoglienza e una disponibilità simili.le camere sono molto ben equipaggiate e i bagni ben forniti. il personale è attento e cortese e il servizio puntuale.Una automobile con autista è disponibile in modo gratuito per le esigenze dei clienti all'interno dei percorsi cittadini.In conclusione davvero un'ottima permanenza. “We had some issues with not having hot water in bathroom and some minor flaws in the bedroom. For example, top blanket was stained and roof had a speaker falling out of ceiling.We called and reported it to housekeeping and it was all corrected when we returned that evening.”

“The concierge and rest of the hotel staff were highly personable and attentive. Great restaurant suggestions. Use of the hotel car was a bonus. The fireplace in the room was romantic. We loved it.”

“The staff, the room, the location (as central as it gets). Did I mention the staff? I called ahead and asked them to book a table for two in a hip/ romantic restaurant. They did, and had the hotel car whisk us there for free and pick us up in the pouring rain after dinner. Loved the whole experience.”
