“JK Place was outstanding. Staff only wanted to please the guests. The rooms had every amenity. My husband's comment was this was the perfect businessman's hotel because everything was laid out in an efficient way. That's not to say this wasn't wonderful for a pleasure trip. It certainly was! We would definitely return.”

They were consistently gracious and very helpful in making our first visit to Florence memorable. Their low-key approach was very much appreciated and the tasteful breakfast and afternoon appetizer buffets were delicious.”

“Great staff, very good service, very nice design of public area, fantastic atmosphere which enables you really to relax (I had to hold myself back not to lay on a sofa at the lounge and cover myself with the blanket(which was there!!!) to have an afternoon nap). Obviously being the winter we could not take an advantage of the roof terrace and have a drink, but in the summer it has to be fantastic!!”

Great attention to detail and we felt very at home, with the collection of art books and art. I would give the interior design the highest rating of any hotel I have ever stayed.”

“Quite simply one of the most unique hotels we have ever stayed in. Feels more like a private house than a home. Interior design was superlative. One thing: turn off CNN on the flat screen in the sitting room area; to see bombings from Baghdad over and over ruins the atmosphere.”

“It was absolutely the most homey and well serviced hotels we have stayed at. Granted ourhome look bnothing lke the hotel but it is the home we all dream we live in. Attention to details and the hospitality of the staff made our stay exceptional. Our concierge gave us great places to dine at that only a true local would recommend and overall we were impressed. We will be back.”
