2. “From the moment we arrived the hotel staff was nothing but helpful and friendly. We are not demanding travelers by any means, yet they went out of their way to accomodate us. The staff spoke perfect English, which was quite helpful.The location is quite convienient, being on the edge of the Marienplatz area and the Maximillianstrasse shopping. Shopping, dining, and tourist sites such as the Residence and English Gardens were easily within walking distance, yet far enough away to allow us to get away from crowds. The Marienplatz train station, with access to the S-bahn and U-bahn lines, was only about a 5 to 10 minute walk.”
