“I am a loyal fan of the Soho Hotel in London, which is owned by the same group, Firmdale, so I had been wanting to give this hotel a try. The only reason it took me three trips to NYC before I pulled the trigger is that they do not offer deals of any kind at at time when some of New York's best hotels are offering suites for what I paid for a deluxe room at the Crosby. I'm a luxury traveler, but everyone likes to feel like they are getting a deal, right? Yes, the hotel looks great, but what really sets it apart is the service. My standards are high but the Crosby amazed me. They truly try to anticipate your every need and must use some sort of profiling so if you ask for your coffee one way the first day, they remember that every time you order coffee afterwards. Scary if you think about what it would take to achieve that kind of service, but it makes me feel special, which isn't such a bad thing t when you are traveling.If you are a downtown sort of person, the location couldn't be better for the galleries, shopping and dining that the area offers.”

“Great location in Soho, great service. They are owned by the same company that runs the Covent Garden Hotel in London... and it shows. Same flair for small-hotel feel in very modern setting. Comfortable rooms, well appointed... a bit pricy, but otherwise perfect.”
