“This was my second stay at the Bel Ami, and it was not as comfortable or enjoyable as the first time I stayed. On one of the days that we stayed, the room was not made up until after 3pm. The general level of service, welcome and 'friendliness' was not as good as the first time. In terms of 'value for money', I expect a bit more. We visit Paris once or twice a year and have stayed in many of the hotels in the area.”

“Nous avons aimé la localisation de l'hôtel ainsi que son ambiance. La chambre était petite et avec une vue sur un mur (cour intérieure). Nous apprécions ce type d'hôtel : taille, esprit "boutique hotel". la décoration de la chambre était sobre (trop ?). Superbe salle à manger pour le petit déjeûner et excellent petit déjeûner.”

“The English-speaking staff were very friendly, and the location is good. However, the room was small, and the bathroom tiny. Although the room was nicely laid out, it lacked some basic design elements. The huge alarm clock located far from the bd and the bulky CRT tv are too quick items that come to mind. All in all, I will not stay at the Bel Ami again.”

“We were in France for 1 week and this was our most expensive hotel and the best by a long shot. The beds were comfortable, everything was very simple, clean, fresh, practical, the location was central, and quiet at the same time, breakfast was outstanding (again simple but very fresh). It's a beautiful hotel. And refreshing, in that as I searched for a special place to stay on our last night in Paris, I noticed that as the prices went up so did the frills, puffy pillows, velvet, brocade, gold leaf, etc., none of which appeals to me. Bel Ami was perfect.”
