rooms and bathrooms were fantastic, pools special. staff tried really hard, and bailed us out of a jam when my fiance hadn't properly booked our connection. some have said service was lacking, i found that if you were gracious, it came back tenfold.

Very relaxed luxury, staff really helpful and welcoming. Good dive centre.

I would recommend the racha to many people as it was great and have already told people about my experience

Tout était parfait, le seul bémol étant peut-être la maîtrise de l'anglais parfois faible du personnel.

We had a beautiful stay at the Racha. Breakfast buffet (included) was one of the best we've experienced. Staff was always pleasant and eager to please although sometimes a little hard to find around the pool and beach. But, once engaged, service was excellent. Highly recommend this resort - worth the trip. Unlike Phuket, this island is not over developed. You can walk everywhere - the local restaurants have excellent Thai food. Scuba diving arranged at the hotel exceeded expectations. Overall, a great holiday!

The only thing we were a little bit disappointed about was the limited offer of fresh fruit and fresh fruit juices at breakfast. The food in the restaurants varied in quality.

the racha was a wonderful experience. will highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to thailand.

The stay was mostly good. However the English linguistic skills of the staff need to be upgraded. They didn't seem to understand more than basic English. One of the front desk receptionists was unfriendly, unhelpful and inefficient. She had to do my bill 3 times because she kept forgetting some charges.

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights and we loved it. The hotel was beautiful and it sits on a great beach. The atmosphere was very serene and although the hotel was at 80% capacity it never felt crowded. The food at one of the 3 restaurants (Earth Cafe) was great and a good value given that it was part of the hotel. We loved our room in which the bathroom was very large and had an outdoor shower (in addition to an indoor one and a big tub). It was also great that they had a lot of different areas to hang out... 2 pools, terraces, a big lounge with board games and 2 MACs... The spa was also beautiful although the prices were comparable to NY prices for massages... It is also worth noting that although the beach at the hotel is nice, the larger one on this island (facing north) is in my opinion better and not crowded at all. You can reach it by foot in 10 minutes and is well worth the walk. This is the one time where I felt that the photos that we saw online didn't do the place justice... I highly recommend it!

Location, beach. Amazing swimming pool and a great beach restaurant.

When you arrive at the Racha, you know you've arrived. Everything to a standard not reached elsewhere in our 3 weeks in Thailand. To be honest, I'm not sure how they do it--very high staff to guest ratio, to begin with.
