“The design and service at the Good Hotel are great. The location is convenient to mass transit and there are a couple of decent, quick dining options right nearby. Some say the neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but I think that is something that you just have to live with in any big city. I would recommend the Good Hotel to anyone heading to SF for business or pleasure. It is a great value and the atmosphere and staff are great.”

“The room was a stupidly reasonable price in a fairly central location in San Francisco. Newly refurbished, comfy beds and a somewhat shiny TV, it was a great place to be able to crash. It is only a block from Civic Center MUNI and BART station and buses and streetcars run down Market Street, making this convenient if not entirely central.”

“This is not the most amazing hotel I've ever been to, but in the context of sub-one hundred dollar hotels in a decent area in San Francisco, I was very content. This place is small - think size usually reserved for Manhattan and Paris - small rooms and tiny tiny bathrooms, but the hotel had hip/intelligent design that fitted the space and the city.If you're looking for pure luxury or the coolest spot in town, look elsewhere - but if you're seeking a cheap place with a boutique feel, you're on the right track. A good place if you're just looking for a place to sleep at night, and plan on enjoying what SF offers.”

“I liked how green they were. The creative use of recycled materials, the recycling bins, the cool toilet. I felt very socially aware during my visit:) And the price could not be beat. It was nice that something "sustainable" was sustainable for my pocketbook too. The decor was also nice. You could tell that they took an old hotel and renovated it, but they did it with such style that it was cute.”

“I loved that they offered free bikes. I loved the price and relative proximity to highlights of the city, especially with bike. Bed was comfortable, room clean, staff helpful. Liked the clean aesthetic, though really just a dressed up motel.”
