“The Altstadt is an absolute gem of a hotel - great location - particulary at this time of year for the Christmast markets.The staff are soooo polite, efficient and helpful and lovely large rooms...They even serve tea and cake in the afternoon free of charge if that is ones taste...Highly recommend....”

“One of my best stays in a long time. Incredibly well run private hotel with a clear sense of place - no doubt one is in Vienna. Very tasteful rooms and beautiful bathrooms, everything super clean. Beautiful salons for breakfast, afternoon coffee or a drink. Excellent breakfast buffet and very afternoon fantastic homemade cake with tea. But most importantly, the staff of the hotel is incredibly charming and helpful, one feels like a true guest. They also are very knowledgeable regarding the local restaurant scene.”
